THE VERDIS ADVANTAGE: OUR PATENTED CATALYST
The catalyst was developed by Dr. Conrad Ayasse, founder of the Canada Chemical Corporation (www.canchem.ca), who has been fielding innovative energy technologies for over 40 years, with some 25 patents to his credit, and Alan Ayasse, MscEng P. Eng.
As such, VERDIS has the full engagement and backing of Canada Chemical’s laboratory facilities, process know-how and R&D staff. They will lead the technical effort to commercialize VERDIS diesel conversion units and carry forward continuous optimization and refinement of the technology in both the lab and field.
To date the catalyst patent has been filed in 26 countries and with the European Patent Office.
BOOSTED ULTRA CLEAN DIESEL OUTPUT
VERDIS has improved the traditional Fischer-Tropsch process thanks to the patented cobalt-ruthenium based catalyst. This catalyst boosts the carbon number yield to 94% from the typical average of 45-50% that other catalysts achieve.
Our catalyst also significantly boosts the percentage of diesel within the hydrocarbon spread. The graphics below show both unique advantages.
FT CATALYTIC REACTION
This graphic outlines the Fischer-Tropsch catalytic reaction through which the syntehtic gas is converted into ultra-low sulfur diesel.
